It’s based in the very real town of Santa Clarita, California. Santa Clarita is located thirty-five miles from down town LA. The school was built in 1903 as an all boy school, by William T. Young. He named the school after his daughter Trinity. She passed away at 2 from cancer. The school was shut down in 1923, improper use of money was the cause. After being closed for 30 years Sarah McCain and her husband bought the school. They reopened it on August 12th 1960 as a co-ed high school. Trinity Prep Academy also know as TPA has four dormitories, King John, King Williams, Queen Anna, and Queen Elizabeth. King John and Queen Anna belong to the Seniors and Juniors. King Williams and Queen Elizabeth are for the Sophomores and Freshman. There are four floors in each building, there are 100 rooms on each floor, and they are shared; 3 people to each room. Each of the four dorms are located around the school, each having a different view of the surrounding.
The school is home to the Pacific Coast Bears, their colors are maroon and white. Uniforms are worn Monday-Friday. Dress-down day occurs every week, but never on the same day.
